Brawley’s utility rates are among the lowest in the state. Imperial Irrigation District provides Brawley with the lowest power rates in Southern California, as well as all of nearby Arizona. When compared with San Diego, Los Angeles, Phoenix or Riverside, IID has the best per kilowatt-hour rates.

The Imperial Irrigation District also supplies the City of Brawley with abundant water. By bringing the water 90 miles from the Colorado River through the All American Canal to the District’s intricate canal system, water is delivered to Brawley at a very economical rate for both residential and commercial use.
