Frye Chapel has been serving the entire Imperial Valley since 1953. This family-owned and operated facility has touched the lives of 3 generations. We welcome you to visit or phone our office for any information you may want regarding pre-need services, at need services, cremation services or monuments and markers.
Frye Chapel Mortuary - Crematory was established by Francis and Edna Rae Frye in 1953 in Brawley, CA. They purchased Hoopes Funeral Home, which was located on the Plaza behind the Brawley Post Office, and changed the name to Hoopes-Frye Funeral Home. With the need for a larger building, in 1964 the current funeral home was built on Highway 86, just south of the city of Brawley.
Francis and Edna Rae had a love of the Imperial Valley and the people they served, making it their mission to take care of families going through the toughest of times. One of their daughters, Sheila Kruger, is now the owner/operator and brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and stability to the business.
The Frye family has served 3 generations of Imperial Valley residents with care and compassion and will continue to do the same moving forward.
